WHITEWATER CANCELLLATION, PAYMENT AND REFUND POLICY

 

1. Full payment is due 24 hours before your scheduled trip.  

2. If you are planning to split payment with others in your group please make sure to do that during the online booking process or contact the office at 304-478-3775 so that we can set that up for you.  If you have not arranged for a split payment ahead of time, the card that you made the reservation with will be charged 24 hours before your scheduled trip for the entire group.

3. Large groups are eligible for a discount.  In order to receive the discount the entire group must pay with one payment - discounts are forfeited if we receive individual payments. 

4. Whitewater rafting cancellations made by the customer more than 7 days before the scheduled trip time will be refunded minus the 10% deposit.  Cancellations made less than 7 days from the scheduled trip time will be charged in full. 

5. No shows, or people who arrive after the guided trip has left will be charged in full. 

6. Our trips run rain or shine. Take advantage of some of the most beautiful moments on the river that come after the rain.  

7.  Blackwater Outdoor Adventures reserves the right to change the boat size, boat type, length of trip, or number of people in the boat due to current river conditions.  Because the Cheat is a free flowing river water conditions can change rapidly.  We want you to have the best experience possible and do our best to match the watercraft to the river conditions. 

8. If water conditions necessitate a change to an all duckie trip we will contact you the day before the trip to discuss it with you. 

9. We reserve the right to refuse participation of any guest who, in our judgement is not mentally or physically capable of participating in the activity for which they have registered.  This includes anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs and no refund will be given. 

10. If a cancellation is made by Blackwater Outdoor Adventures due to weather, water conditions or other event a full refund will be given. 

 

FLATWATER CANCELLATION, PAYMENT AND REFUND POLICY

1. Full Payment is due the day of your trip.
2.  Groups over 10 are eligible for a discount.  In order to receive the discount the entire group must pay with one payment - discounts are forfeited if we receive individual payments. 
3.  Flatwater cancellations made 3 days before the day of the trip are eligible for a full refund.  

4.  Flatwater rentals may be rescheduled 1 day before trip time.  If the weather is a concern the day of your trip please call and talk to us.  We may be able to move your rental to a different time in the day - but this is not guaranteed. 

5.  Shuttle times are the time the shuttle departs from the outfitter.  Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time to ensure that you have sufficient time to get checked and collect your gear before the shuttle departs.

6. No shows, or people who arrive after less than 15 minutes before their scheduled shuttle departure time will be charged in full. 

7.  Everyone in your group must be back on land at the outfitter and checked back in by 5:00pm.  For every half hour past 5:00 that you are still out on the water we will assess a $20 late arrival fee.  The first fee will be assessed at 5:30pm and every half hour onward until your entire group arrives.

GUIDED FISHING CANCELLATION, PAYMENT AND REFUND POLICY

 

1. Full payment is due 24 hours before your scheduled trip.

2. Guided Fishing cancellations made by the customer more than 7 days before the scheduled trip time will be refunded minus the $10 deposit.  Cancellations made less than 7 days from the scheduled trip time will be charged in full. 

3. Our trips run rain or shine. Take advantage of some of the best fishing that comes after the rain.  No refunds will be given for rain.  If the weather is a concern to you please watch the forecast and contact us at least 24 hours ahead of your trip if you have questions. 

4.  Blackwater Outdoor Adventures reserves the right to change the length of trip due to current river conditions.  Because the Cheat is a free flowing river water conditions can change rapidly.  We want you to have the best experience possible and do our best to match the distance of your trip to the river conditions.

CAMPING CANCELLATION, PAYMENT AND REFUND POLICY

 

1. Full payment is due the day you are scheduled to check in. 

2.  Groups over 10 are eligible for a discount.  In order to receive the discount the entire group must pay with one payment - discounts are forfeited if we receive individual payments. 

3.  Camping cancellations made 3 days before the day of arrival are eligible for a full refund.  

4.  Camping reservations may be rescheduled 1 day before arrival time.  

5. Camping is available rain or shine.  No refunds will be given for rain.  If the weather is a concern to you please watch the forecast and contact us at least 24 hours ahead of your arrival day to reschedule or 3 days ahead for a refund. 

6.Only dead and downed trees are available for firewood.  Anyone cutting standing or live trees, bushes, shrubs or other vegetation will be assessed a $25 per plant fee that will be charged to the card the reservation was made with.
